May 5 - A working Sunday and next week's prep

On my first morning in Mbarara, I headed to the hospital early on this Sunday and met with Habert and Dr. Mitala. I reviewed the protocol with them, and they shared the plan for recruitment for the coming week. I also caught up with Kim Hwang at the hospital to understand his progress in Mbarara from the previous days and where I would be picking up from. We decided to have Habert use the device and share his feedback for the study and the user count increased by one on what was originally supposed to be a day off.

The rest of the day, I went to town to make more copies of the study materials and buy folders for what was becoming a big stack of completed papers from Mulago and Mbarara. Ready for the next week of testing!

I ended the day at a special place (The Rolex Booth) eating special food (a rolex) with special people.
