April 25 - Fighting jetlag and a meeting at Mulago

My energy from the previous evening took a hit this morning due to jetlag. At noon, I unpacked our technology and study materials and set them up in the common area of my accommodations. Dan joined soon after and we wrote set-up instructions for the rest of the team to use during the study. We tested the app, and found a few bugs so we troubleshot with our Baltimore-based app development team via Zoom for a couple of hours.

Then, in lieu of our biweekly virtual meeting with our team in Mulago Hospital, we went to Mulago for an in-person meeting with Dr. Kalungi (one of our PIs) and Matovu, our cytotechnology team member. We discussed the plan for the study, which was to start Monday morning and recruitment for it.
