April 24 - Travel Day: Sim card and a snack

Teja here! I spent the last ~20 hours travelling from Washington D.C. to Entebbe, Uganda. After going through immigration and collecting my luggage, I was met at the airport by some amazing friends and people who I have gotten to know from my last visits to Uganda. We headed to Kampala and I checked in to my accommodations.

The good weather and brightness outside motivated me to quickly get settled in without recovering from travel for too long. I made arrangements with our transportation team and a friend brought over a snack and a sim card. Very thankful to be surrounded by people who support this team and this work.

In the evening, we stepped out to a restaurant for a strategy meeting over live music before attending into a VentureWell Pioneer Zoom call. We had just attended a 2 day VentureWell workshop in Ohio prior to leaving for Uganda. Read more about the workshop HERE.
