August 12 - Aug 13 - Crossing the Equator

We spent the weekend making the 5.5 hour drive from Kampala to Mbarara. This trip involved crossing the equator, listening to lots of afrobeats in the car, and scenic views. We spent Saturday evening and Sunday settling into our accommodations in Mbarara and preparing for our week of work ahead.
